Starlite Printers (Far East) 14th Packaging Seminar 2017 was successfully held on 29 Sept 2017 at Mandarin Orchard Hotel. The theme for this year is “Embracing Automation, Moving Beyond”.
We are very fortunate to have a group of well-known experts in their respective fields participated in our conference this year. Once again it was such an absolute delight to have Mr. Angus Tai, Chief Technical Officer of Starlite Holding Group, our first speaker of the day with his presentation “From Virtuality to Reality” and once again he did fantastically. The second speaker Ms. Jefference Tay, Regional Manager (Southeast Asia) of Starlite Printers (F.E.) Pte Ltd had shared on “Team Green Singapore Updates”. Other topics shared included “The Self Leadership Speedometer” by Mr. Andrew Bryant, a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP), “The Food Bank Singapore - How It Got Started” by Ms. Nichol Ng, Managing Director of FoodXervices Inc Pte Ltd & Co-Founder of The Food Bank Singapore and “How To Capture New Market Share by Leveraging on Brand & Packaging Design” by Mr. Jackie Tan, Design Director of Orient Design Pte Ltd.

3rd December 2014, Starlite Printers (Far East) Pte Ltd is proud to be awarded a total of nine Star Awards across three arenas for the period 2014/2015. The nine awards comprises three WorldStar Awards, two AsiaStar Awards and four Singapore Packaging Star Awards. The winning entries are the Brand’s Bird’s Nest 8s CNY Pack, the Rice Dumpling Box 2014, the Ongoing Lifting Serum 30ml Box and the Tiger Radler Introduction Kit.
10th January 2014, Starlite Printers (Far East) Pte Ltd is proud to be awarded five Singapore Packaging Star Award 2013. The winning entries are the 2013 Rice Dumpling Box, the SMF 80th Anniversary Commemorative Book Carrier, the CNY 2013 Mandarin Orange Box, the Mooncake Box and the 10th Packaging Seminar Invitation Box. All five awards are given under the Sales and Display Products category.
Innovation is observed in each of the winning products. The CNY 2013 Mandarin Orange Box, the Rice Dumpling box and the SMF Commemorative Book Carrier have distinctive appearances. On the other hand, the Mooncake Box can be reused as a jewellery box after its content has been consumed and it incorporates a photo frame at the inner top flap. Perhaps it is because of this “Reuse” consideration as well as the user friendly design that has allowed the Mooncake Box to be awarded an AsiaStar Award on top of the Singapore Packaging Star Award.
The 10th Packaging Seminar Invitation box introduces a locking mechanism for the drawers which is an uncommon feature for a cardboard based product. This unique feature has managed to gain recognition beyond Singapore as the box has also managed to win an AsiaStar Award as well as a WorldStar Award.
18 May 2010, Starlite Printers (F.E.) Pte Ltd received 3 awards this evening. The awarded designs were Klassno Table Display Stand, Rice Dumpling Box and the coveted APF Presidential Award for the package design of “JW Black Centurion II Box”.

The SME100 awards were presented at a prestigious gala dinner function at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore on July 7 to recognize and honour some of the best and upcoming small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Singapore. The awards were presented to the top 31 winners at the gala event by William Ng, group publisher and editor-in-chief of SME Magazine. On receiving the awards, the General Manager of Starlite Printers (Far East) Pte Ltd, Mr Randy Ang says “Winning the award will spur Starlite to continue to be proactive in providing innovative packaging solutions to all our esteemed customers”. Adding further, the company “wants to be bold to set trends especially in the area of automation so that we are always ahead of our competitors.” The Starlite team is honoured and greatly encouraged by this win.
