Aug 2008 - Starlite Printers (Far East) Pte Ltd has been awarded the Singapore Packaging Star Award 2008 for the HP Photo Pack 110 and JW Black Centurion Box.

Singapore, 13 August 2008 - Starlite Printers (Far East) Pte Ltd was awarded the Singapore Packaging Star Award 2008 under the Commercial Sales and Display Category for its HP Photo Pack 110 and JW Black Centurion Box.

Creativity is observed in the HP Photo Pack where a single box, made from a single piece of paper, is made to appear like two different boxes glued together.As for the JW Black Centurion box, it differs from the conventional 6-sided box; it resembles a frame, a photo frame for the commemorative bottle of Black Label, to celebrate its 100 years of launch.

The Singapore Packaging Star Award 2008 is organized by the Packaging Council of Singapore and the Singapore Manufacturers' Federation. It is a prestigious national award given to companies and students to promote the standard of local design and packaging. The award recognises excellence in innovative designs, packaging construction, material usage and environment consideration.
